The first elastic foam layer is configured to engage a wound bed and has a first side and a second side, the second side configured to face the wound surface. The superabsorbent layer is configured to absorb wound fluid and has a first side and a second side, the second side configured to face the first side of the elastic foam layer. The second elastic foam layer has a first side and a second side, the second side configured to face the first side of the superabsorbent layer.
