The present invention is directed towards a toilet seat comprising: a support, a seat mounted on the support, a lifting means enabling vertically adjusting the seat in view of the support from a first position to a second position, wherein the surface of the seat when positioned in the first position is substantially parallel to the surface of the seat when positioned in the second position and that said lifting means are are adapted for exerting an upwardly directed force on the seat of at least 500 N for lifting the seat from the first position to the second position higher than the first position position and wherein the seat comprises arm rests separating the seat from the lifting means.La présente invention concerne un siège de toilettes comprenant : un support, un siège monté sur le support, un moyen de levage permettant dajuster le siège verticalement compte tenu du support dune première position vers une seconde position, la surface du siège, lorsquelle se trouve dans la première position, étant pratiquement parallèle à la surface du siège lorsquil se trouve dans la seconde position et ledit moyen de levage étant conçu pour exercer une force directe vers le haut sur le siège dau moins 500 N pour lever le siège de la première position vers la seconde position plus élevée que la première position et le siège comprenant des accoudoirs séparant le siège du moyen de levage.
