PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent delivery system excelling in operability to a constricted part without causing the fall and movement of a stent.SOLUTION: The stent delivery system includes: an expansible balloon 1； an expansible stent 6 coaxially mounted on the outside of the balloon 1； an inside shaft 10； and an outside shaft 11 coaxially arranged on the outside of the inside shaft 10. The stent delivery system also includes a tubular support member 7 arranged at the tip of the outside shaft 11. The support member 7 is arranged outside the inside shaft 10 and inside the balloon 1, and has at least one opening 5 in the outer surface.
