The present invention relates to a stable composition for providing PVC having fungicidal properties. Said stable composition contains at least one thiabendazole as active substance, at least one plasticizer for PVC, at least one thixotropic agent and possibly other fungicides. . The present invention further relates to methods for producing said formulations and their use to prevent PVC from being attacked or destroyed by microorganisms.
