PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus that can reduce a burden on a subject and can make a visual field at the time of observing a body cavity wide and bright, and to provide an endoscope apparatus that observes tissues from a mucosa layer of the surface of the stomach and a gastric wall to a serosal membrane.SOLUTION: An endoscope apparatus according to one embodiment is for examining a body cavity and includes a manipulator, a capsule endoscope, and connecting/separating means. The manipulator has flexibility of multiple degrees of freedom so as to be inserted through the nose. The capsule endoscope is orally input into the living body. The connecting/separating means is provided between the manipulator and the capsule endoscope, and can connect/separate them.
