PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for more efficiently inducing a higher-quality somatic embryo group compared to conventional methods by heightening the proportion of a single somatic embryo from a somatic embryo mass of a plant.SOLUTION: The method for inducing the single somatic embryo includes subjecting the somatic embryo mass of the plant to a physical dividing treatment.
