PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable harvester capable of surely removing the hairy roots of a crop harvested from the farm, and hardly accumulating soil and the hairy roots on a cutting blade and in the cutter.SOLUTION: The root vegetable harvester includes: a pulling-and-conveying apparatus 24 for pulling a crop out of the farm and conveying it on one of left and right sides of the machine body and a cutter 57 for cutting off the hairy roots of a crop under conveyance beneath the conveyance pathway of the pulling-and-conveying apparatus 24.
