The present invention relates to composition for preventing or treating cachexia, and more specifically, to a composition for preventing or treating cachexia containing a peptide dereived from a telomerase. The composition for preventing or treating cachexia, according to present invention, has the advantages of improving symptoms of chachexia, such as weight loss, anemia, edema, and loss of apetite, and has few side effects.
