The present invention provides an apparatus for X-ray photography comprising a first X-ray source, a first driving device and an image detecting device. The X-ray source has an emitting side with a block element for forming a first boundary by constraining an irradiating field generated from the emitting side to an object having a center and an imageable area. The first driving device is able to drive the first X-ray source to rotate about the center of the object for moving around the object within an angle range such that when the X-ray source is located at a first position, the first boundary is passing through the center while the irradiating field is projected onto the imageable area.
