A leg sling for use on a lower limb has a waist belt configured to be securedaround a user'swaist. At least two connectors are attached to the waist belt. A pair ofassistance lines made of astretchable and resilient material are provided. Each of the assistance lineshas a connector endattachable to one of the at least two connectors and a foot sling end. A footsling is made of a flexiblematerial. The foot sling has a foot support, a left connection and a rightconnection. The left connectionis connectable to the foot sling end of one of the assistance lines and theright connection is connectableto the foot sling end of the other assistance line.
