PURPOSE: An environment-friendly vegetation mat is provided to spur the growth of plants near rivers and banks without environment pollution. CONSTITUTION: An environment-friendly vegetation mat comprises； a layer of nonwoven fabric(110a) with a hole(111) for flowing, a seed layer(120) comprising plant seeds to be grown, the first biodegrading net layer(130) for supporting the seed layer, a core cotton mat layer(140) for providing heat and moisture and preventing soil erosion and the second biodegrading net layer(150) for supporting the core cotton mat layer. The first layer with nutrients is formed after being coated with a mixed nutrient composition of； at least one crushed herbal material of 50 by weight chosen from herbal materials such as wood chips, sawdust, discarded herbal medicine, charcoal dust and expanded rice hull, manure soil 30 by weight, vegetable glues 10 by weight and water 10 by weight. The vegetable glues comprises at least a gelatin, brown seaweed, kelp, seaweed, agar-agar, corn starch, starch, chaff powder, broad-leaves and acicular tree powder. Instead of using the manure soil, fly ashes comprising unburned carbons 0.1-1.5 by weight are used. The nonwoven layer is formed in a sheet made of mixed materials of； organic material composition 20 by weight selected from at least bentonite, peat moss, humic acid, sample reduction, leaf mould and charcoal dust, a 2-3mm sized pellet 50 by weight which is made of discarded pulp, sawdust 10 by weight, 2-3mm sized perlite, more than one bas material 10 by weight chosen from zeolite, vermiculite, barley stone and elvan, charcoal dust 5 by weight and expanded rice hull 5 by weight. The environment-friendly vegetation mat comprises the nonwoven layers more than the first biodegrading net layer and the core cotton mat layer.
