The present invention relates to a combination of at least two, preferably all, of (a) an extract of amalaki, (b) an extract of pomegranate, and (c) at least one carotenoid. The above combination can function as an anti-oxidizing agent, a cell energizing agent, and a skin microrelief protecting agent.
