PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood circulation-improving composition having excellent blood circulation-improving effect and further having high safety and practicality and being widely useable for beverages and foods, feed, quasi-drugs, medicines, etc.
SOLUTION: The blood circulation-improving composition comprises ellagitannin as an active ingredient. The blood circulation-improving composition comprises at least one selected from a group consisting of elaeocarpusin, chebulagic acid, geraniin and corilagin as ellagitannin as an active ingredient. These ingredients are derived from natural plants having actual results taken in human bodies over a long period, e.g, amla and are free from fear inducing strong adverse action even if they are taken in human bodies in large amounts and have high safety. Therefore, the composition has high practicality and can widely be used for beverages and foods, feed, quasi-drugs, medicines, etc.
