PURPOSE: Red ginseng pills with improved saponin content and a producing method thereof are provided by repeated processes of steaming and drying ginseng using mulberry. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of red ginseng pills with improved saponin content comprises the following steps: pouring water in a pot and layering ginseng which was dried in sunlight for 4-5 hours on a tray placed on top of the pot； heating the pot using mulberry firewood for first-round steaming of the ginseng at 80-90 deg C for 4-6 hours and then letting the ginseng settle for 50-70 minutes； layering the settled ginseng on a fabric located on the floor of a yellow soil room, and heating the yellow soil room with the mulberry firewood for heating the ginseng at 45-65 deg C for 6-8 days for first-round drying； second-round steaming the ginseng on the pot at 80-90 deg C for 2-4 hours and then letting the ginseng settle for 50-70 minutes； second-round drying the ginseng at 45-65 deg C in the yellow soil room for 2-4 days； third-round steaming the ginseng for 50-70 minutes using the pot and then letting the ginseng settle for 50-70 minutes； third-round drying the ginseng in the yellow soil room for 1-3 days to obtain red ginseng； drying the red ginseng in the sunlight before crushing； kneading the crushed ginseng with honey and molding the same into a pill shape； and drying the red ginseng pills on the fabric in the yellow soil room.본 발명은 (a) 솥단지에 물을 붓고 솥단지 상부에 채반을 얹은 후 채반 위에 햇볕에 널어놓은 인삼을 올려놓고, 솥단지를 뽕나무로 불을 때면서 인삼을 증포하고 방치한 후, 황토방의 바닥에 천을 깔고 상기 방치한 인삼을 천 위에 널어놓고, 황토방을 뽕나무로 불을 때면서 인삼을 건조하는 과정을 2~4회 반복하여 홍삼을 제조하는 단계； (b) 상기 (a)단계의 제조한 홍삼을 햇볕에 널어놓은 후 분쇄하는 단계； (c) 상기 (b)단계의 분쇄한 홍삼에 꿀을 넣고 반죽을 만든 후 환 형태로 제환하여 홍삼환을 제조하는 단계； 및 (d) 황토방의 바닥에 천을 깔고 상기 (c)단계의 제조한 홍삼환을 천 위에 널어놓고, 황토방을 뽕나무로 불을 때면서 건조하는 단계를 포함하여 제조하는 것을 특징으로 하는 사포닌 함량이 증진된 홍삼환의 제조방법 및 상기 방법으로 제조된 홍삼환에 관한 것이다.
