SOLUTION: In the tape type disposable diaper, the fastening tape 5 is provided with a fixed part 5f fixed to the side flap part SF of a back side part and a projected part 5e projected from the back side part, the projected part 5e has a distal end part 5p provided with a connection part 9 and a main body part 5b closer to the proximal end side than the distal end part 5p, and the main body part 5b is configured so as to elastically extend and contract in the width direction. Also, pulling stress during elastic deformation at one part in the width direction in the main body part 5b is weaker than the pulling stress during the elastic deformation at the other part due to cutting of an elastic member 20 or the like.
