The present invention relates to a flexible medical endoscope using internal light source assembly within the distal end of the endoscope which eliminates the need of fiber optic light guide transmission bundles and light guide lens for light spread. More particularly it is a flexible medical endoscope like Gastroscope, Colonoscope, Dudenoscope , Bronchoscope, thin diameter fiberoptic endoscope, Ultrasonic scope etc. used for visualizing internal cavities of human and animal body with light source for illumination unit direct within the distal tip of the endoscope which is most near to the visualization objects that eliminates the light transmission loss and also the wear and tear of the glass fiber bundles thereby the clear image of the object can be obtained. The light source assembly comprises of LEDs, specially designed PCB for mounting LEDs and photo coupler. It eliminates the bulky heat generating light source , control knob , battery operation thereby a high performance, low cost, non heat radiating, compact and reliable endoscope for treatment of internal disease can be achieved.
