PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can suppress discomfort when it is worn by a wearer, and can enhance fitting property to a body of a wearer.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 comprises: an absorbent core 31 a cover sheet 32 and a top sheet 11 which are arranged on a skin facing surface side relative to the absorbent core and a first compression groove 81 formed on at least the absorbent core 31 and the cover sheet 32, and extends in a first direction. An extensibility in a second direction of the cover sheet is lower than an extensibility in the second direction of a skin surface sheet.
