The main object of the present invention is to provide a novel useful vitamin D3 derivative having excellent vitamin D3 activity and relatively little effect on systemic calcium metabolism compared to conventional vitamin D3 derivatives. As the present invention, there can be mentioned a 9,10-secopregnene derivative represented by the following formula (1) and a pharmaceutical composition containing it as an active ingredient.Formula 1 In the formula (1), the following partial structure between the 16th and 17th positions represents a single bond or a double bond.
