PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which has a good appearance and is easy to be removed when removed from clothes.SOLUTION: A sanitary napkin 1 of one embodiment of the invention includes a surface sheet 2, a back surface sheet 3, and an absorber 4 arranged between both sheets 2, 3, and has a fixing member 5 on the back surface sheet 3 for fixing the sanitary napkin on clothes. A central part 11 of a shape protruding outward and tab parts 12, 12 of a shape protruding outward on both sides of the central part 11 are formed on an end edge part on a front side in a longitudinal direction (Y direction). An outer periphery of the central part 11 and an outer periphery of each tab part 12 are continuously connected at a V-shaped dent 13 formed when straight lines or outwardly protruding curves intersect with each other. The fixing member 5 is formed into the shape of a rectangle as a whole that is long in the longitudinal direction (Y direction) in a plane view, and each tab part 12 is arranged on an extension line of a bisector ILb of an angle 50b of the rectangle.
