PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food material mixing apparatus capable of certainly, quickly, and automatically treating all processes from mixing to discharge of input food materials.SOLUTION: This food material mixing apparatus 1 comprises a mixing container 2 for storing the food materials, a turn support mechanism 3 for supporting the mixing container 2 turnably with respect to a horizontal axis 3s, and a turn control mechanism for driving and controlling the support angle position of the turn support mechanism 3. A top opening 2a allowing injection and discharge of the food materials is formed in the upper end of the mixing container 2, and the mixing container 2 is constituted by the turn control mechanism in a mixing, driving and controlling state where it continuously reciprocates and rocks in a constant angle range. The angle range of the mixing, driving and controlling can be switched between two ranges of an acute angle range J and an obtuse angle range K, the acute angle range J is applied at the beginning of the mixing, the obtuse angle range K is applied after a predetermined timing.
