The funereal urn for inhumation is decomposable and the residual ash remaining after decomposition contains carbonate and phosphate, which are enclosed in a space in the urn on inhumation. The space also contains a liquid forming a basic solution together with the ash, which decomposes the silicon network, with the passage of time, the urn is broken down and splits apart. The decomposable funereal urn comprises a mixture of sand, soda and preferably chalk, dolomite, felspar for formation of a silicon network and the ash remaining after decomposition contains carbonate and phosphate.
