PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a heat radiation pathway for an imaging device housed within an endoscope distal end, and to reinforce the imaging device.SOLUTION: An electronic endoscope apparatus includes an endoscope including: an imaging device 23 connected to a processor device for processing image signals light guides 40a and 40b for guiding illumination light from a light source device to emit it into a subject through an illumination window and a forceps pipe 16 inserted to a forceps outlet, which are housed in a distal end part 12a. The rear surface of the imaging device 23 is closely fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the forceps pipe 16 with an adhesive 41 to make the forceps pipe 16 serve as a heat radiation pathway for the imaging device 23.
