PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type managing machine that can carry out ridging without using a conventional wing hiller provided as an attachment and can operate regular tilling without dismounting a hiller.SOLUTION: An axle tillage type managing machine 1 with a plurality of tilling pawls 10 provided at an axle 9 extended from a machine frame to the right and left outside direction includes at the rear part of the machine frame: an attaching portion (an implement connection hitch 12) for a resistance bar 13 which generates travel resistance by contacting a farm field and an attaching portion for a moving tail wheel 21 which supports the rear part of the machine frame when the machine frame moves. The attaching portion for the moving tail wheel 21 is constituted of a moving tail wheel bracket 20 turnable to a descending attitude for holding the moving tail wheel 21 at a ground height and to an ascending attitude for holding the moving tail wheel 21 at a non-ground height.
