PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed for a pet which enables the pet to go in and out of its volition, gives the pet a high effect of protection against the cold, and enables the owner to effectively admire the lovely behavior of the pet.SOLUTION: The bed for the pet has the bed part 2 where the pet lies, and a hood part 3 mounted so as to surround the circumference of the bed part 2 and cover above the bed part 2. The circumferential wall 7 standing in a vertical direction is mounted in the hood part 3. There is mounted on the circumferential wall 7 an entrance 12 having a slit-like opening through which the head of the pet P does not pass but which is not be closed completely.
