Enclosed within the housing is areservoir forcontaining a medicament, a delivery mechanism for delivering the medicament tothe patient,and a pump in fluid communication with the reservoir and delivery mechanism.The base has anintegrally formed fluid channel in fluid communication with the reservoir andthe deliverymechanism and a filter media containing an adsorbent positioned in the fluidchannel to contactthe medicament and remove at least a portion of a stabilizing compound fromthe medicamentcarried through the fluid channel.
