PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brain function improving composition capable of improving dementia, particularly Alzheimer's dementia. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing process of single-distilled shochu, shochu oil obtained by floating during the cooling of the raw liquor during atmospheric distillation or reduced pressure distillation is used as an active ingredient of a brain function improving composition.
