The present invention relates to an absorbent article comprising: a wood pulp web (12b)； and a non-woven fabric (12a) stacked on the wood pulp web (12b) and formed of cotton. The non-woven fabric (12a) includes an absorbent pad (12) in which valley parts are continuously formed on the surface thereof along the longitudinal direction to be formed along the width direction at regular intervals. Therefore, the absorbent article can effectively prevent leakage of menstrual blood or urine in the width direction thereof since valley parts continuously formed along the longitudinal direction on the surface of a cotton-made non-woven fabric (12a) forming an absorbent pad (12) are arranged in the width direction at regular intervals in order to form a channel (C) in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent pad layer (12).
