The present invention relates to a rod float using a metal socket. The rod float can be further conveniently used for sea fishing, and costs are reduced. Also, disadvantages of a rod float are remedied. A conventional sea fishing rod float tackle has, on a raw line, seven components which are a half moon bead, a float holder, an O-shaped cushion, a tangling preventing rod, an underwater float, a v-shaped cushion, and a swivel. However, when the convenient socket of the present invention is used, a half moon bead, a float holder, and a tangling preventing rod are not included.
