PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition excellent in a hypersensitivity control effect for controlling the hypersensitivity and tooth pain, good in the foaming property and spinnability of preparations, not giving an unpleasant taste, and especially suitable as a toothpaste.SOLUTION: A dentifrice composition comprises a sodium ion and a potassium ion in a mass ratio of 1:≥11 in the composition and in a potassium ion concentration of 1.7-3 mass%, 0.5-1.5 mass% of an amphoteric surfactant, 0.5-2 mass% of one or more polymer compounds selected from xanthan gum, hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, methylcellulose and propylene glycol alginate. Further, the dentifrice composition contains sucralose and/or aspartame.
