PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubble substitute material using lumber that is not left semipermanently and is less likely to inhibit the growth of animals and plants.SOLUTION: A rubble substitute material comprises a small lump-like lumber having a carbonization layer on a surface layer.
