The present invention discloses polypeptides comprising the same amino acid sequence as at least 12 amino acid residues of SEQ ID NO: 2. The polypeptides according to the invention are effective against fungi, in particular fungi which cause plant diseases, and fungi which colonize agricultural products. The present invention also discloses such polypeptides, and methods for producing nucleic acids encoding such polypeptides.
