PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of suppressing lateral leakage.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 10 comprises: a liquid permeable top sheet 11； a liquid impermeable back sheet 12； and a vertically long absorber 13 interposed between the respective sheets 11, 12. The absorber 13 has plural liquid absorption layers 21-24 laminated in a thickness direction. Out of the respective liquid absorption layers 21-24, a first intermediate layer 23 has first liquid absorption parts 27 and second liquid absorption parts 28 extending in a longitudinal direction of the absorber 13. The first liquid absorption parts 27 are arranged respectively on each of both end sides of the width direction on the first intermediate layer 23, and the second liquid absorption part 28 is adjacent to a center side of the width direction of the respective first liquid absorption part 27. Each first liquid absorption part 27 has a swell degree to the thickness direction in liquid absorption, which is larger than that of the second liquid absorption part 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
