PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a production speed of producing a strip of laver by connecting rectangular laver.SOLUTION: A method for connecting laver includes: detecting, with a detector 7, the downstream end of rectangular laver S which is intermittently transported in a horizontal direction moistening the upstream connection hem Sa of the rectangular laver S before or after the detection stopping transportation of the rectangular laver S in a timing when the downstream connection hem Sb of the rectangular laver S is superposed, by the detection of the downstream end of the rectangular laver S, on the upstream connection hem SLa of the strip of laver SL which stands by on the downstream side of the transportation direction of the rectangular laver S sticking and adding the rectangular laver S to the strip of laver SL by pressurizing the superposed part in a condition that the downstream connection hem Sb of the rectangular laver S and the upstream end connection hem SLa of the a strip of laver SL are superposed on each other transporting the strip of laver SL to the downstream side by a length which is obtained by reducing a width of the downstream connection hem Sb of the rectangular laver S from the total length of the transportation direction of the rectangular laver S and repeating the processes each time the detector 7 detects the downstream end of the rectangular laver S to add the rectangular laver one by one.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】矩形海苔を接続して帯状海苔を製造することの製造速度を高める。【解決手段】水平方向に間欠搬送される矩形海苔Sの下流端を検出器7で検出し、該検出の前或いは後で、該矩形海苔Sの上流側接続代Saを湿らせ、前記矩形海苔Sの下流端の検出から該矩形海苔Sがその下流側接続代Sbが、矩形海苔Sの搬送方向下流側に待機している帯状海苔SLの上流側接続代SLaに重なるタイミングで矩形海苔Sの搬送を停止し、矩形海苔Sの下流側接続代Sbと帯状海苔SLの上流端接続代SLaが重なった状態で該重なり部を挟圧することにより、帯状海苔SLに矩形海苔Sを接着して継ぎ足し、次に矩形海苔Sの搬送方向の全長から矩形海苔Sの下流側接続代Sbの幅長さを減じた長さ分だけ帯状海苔SLを下流側に搬送し、検出器7が矩形海苔Sの下流端を検出する毎に上記工程を繰り返して矩形海苔を順次継ぎ足す。【選択図】図1
