PURPOSE: A medicine taking auxiliary device is provided to prevent skip and repetition of taking medicine without input action of a user. CONSTITUTION: A medicine taking auxiliary device comprises: a memory unit which stores the information that a user takes medicine or not on medicine taking time and period； an input-output unit which communicates with the outside on medicine taking time and period information； a detection unit sensing the change of the physical quantity generated in the contact point or sensor； a controller which stores medicine taking fact in the memory and controls each unit； and an alarm generation unit which periodically generates warning the when necessary.정해진 약 복용시간에 경보를 울림으로써 약 복용자가 누락 없이 약을 복용할 수 있도록 하고 또한 약 복용자가 약을 복용한 경우에는 약 복용자의 특별한 입력 없이도 그 사실을 기억하여 약 복용자가 재차 약을 복용하려는 경우에 이미 약을 복용하였음을 알림으로써 약 복용자가 중복적으로 약을 복용하는 일이 없도록 하는, 주기적으로 복용하는 약 복용 보조장치가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 약 복용 보조장치에서, 메모리는 주기적으로 복용하는 약의 복용시간 및 주기 그리고 약의 한 복용주기 동안에 약의 복용자가 약을 복용하였는지 여부를 저장하고, 검출부는 약 복용자가 약을 복용하기 위하여 약품보관용기를 잡거나 또는 그것의 뚜껑을 여는 행위에 의하여 발생하는 물리량의 변화를 검출하고, 제어부는 검출부에 의하여 검출된 물리량의 변화에 기초하여 약 복용자가 약을 복용하는지 여부를 판단하고 메모리에 약 복용사실을 입력하며, 또한 메모리를 참조하여 약 복용자가 이미 약을 복용하였는지 여부를 판단할 때 만약 이미 약을 복용하였다면 그 사실을 상기 약 복용자에게 알리기 위하여 경보를 발생시키도록 하는 것이다.
