A lighting apparatus for providing visible light, the lighting apparatus comprising: a section (10) of the body having an open end, a reflective inner part and a lighting end; a light module (20) mechanically fixed to the lighting end of the section (10) of the body, the light module (20) comprising: a plurality of LEDs (120, 140, 160) of at least two different colors adapted for coupled to a source (300) of energy and a reference (390) of common potential, comprising the plurality of LEDs (120, 140, 160): at least one first LED (120) configured to generate the first radiation having a first spectrum corresponding to a first primary color; and at least a second LED (140) configured to generate a second radiation having a second spectrum corresponding to a second primary color different from the first primary color; a current sink (380) interposed between the plurality of LEDs and the common potential reference (390), the current sink (380) comprising at least two switches corresponding to the respective current paths (324, 344, 364) of at least two different LEDs (120, 140, 160) of color; and a controller (400) comprising: control means for periodically and independently opening and closing the at least two high frequency switches and for generating a duty cycle in that way; and programming means coupled to the control means for programming respective work cycles for each color of at least two LEDs of different colors, the programming means comprising a first register for storing at least a first intensity value representing a first cycle working for at least a first LED (120); and a second register for storing at least a second intensity value representing a second duty cycle for at least a second LED (140); and a diffuser inserted in section (10) of the body and configured to ensure that the plurality of LEDs in the light module appears to emit a single uniform frequency of light; characterized in that the respective duty cycles for each color are programmed so th
