The present invention relates to a ward bed including an upper body part and a lower body part which respectively support the upper body and lower body of a patient, wherein the ward bed comprises: a plurality of rotary balls inserted in the surfaces of the upper body part and lower body part； a rotary shaft fixed to the upper body part or lower body part to change the angles of the upper body part and lower body part； an upper body support shaft connected with the rotary shaft and supporting the upper body part； a lower body support shaft connected with the rotary shaft and supporting the lower body part； an elastic body disposed between the lower body support shaft and the bottom surface of the lower body part and supporting the upper body part so that the upper body part receives elastic power to always stand； and a back adjusting device installed in one end of the rotary shaft and controlling the rotation of the rotary shaft.본 발명은 환자의 상체와 하체를 각각 지지하는 상체부와 하체부를 포함하는 병실용 침대에 있어서, 상기 상체부와 하체부의 표면에 삽입되어 있는 복수의 회전볼과, 상기 상체부와 하체부의 각도를 변화시키도록 상체부 또는 하체부에 고정되어 있는 회전축과, 상기 회전축에 연결되며 상체부를 지지하는 상체 지지축과, 상기 회전축에 연결되며 하체부를 지지하는 하체 지지축과, 상기 하체 지지축과 하체부 하면 사이에 배치되며, 상체부가 항상 세워지려고 하는 탄성적 힘을 받도록 지지하는 탄성체와, 상기 회전축의 일단에 설치되어 회전축의 회전을 제한하는 등받이 조절장치를 포함하는 병실용 침대를 제공한다.
