SOLUTION: An imaging device for stereo-photographing the fundus of a subjects eye includes: a determination section that determines whether a mode for generating two or more images at one time of imaging by an imaging part is effective or not a generation section that generates two or more images from one time of imaging by the imaging part when the determination section determines that the mode is effective and a registration section that assumes two images taken by the imaging part as stereo images and registers them as a pair. The imaging by the imaging part is prohibited for the registration section when the determination section determines that the mode is effective.
