PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed load detector capable of preventing deterioration in load detection accuracy caused by repeated application of the load.SOLUTION: The load detector 1 is provided with a substrate part 2 placed on a bed installation surface 15, a cantilever beam part 5 which is nearly horizontally supported by the substrate part 2 and spaced apart from and above the bed installation surface 15 and which has an integrally formed placing board part 7 for placing a leg part of a bed on at its tip, and a distortion detection sensor 8 which detects the distortion of the cantilever beam part 5 and outputs a signal to be used for detecting a load applied on the leg of the bed. The substrate part 2 has a pair of right and left side parts 2a, 2a spaced apart oppositely from each other and a pair of front and back connecting side parts 2b, 2c spaced apart oppositely from each other between the right and left side parts and connecting one ends and the other ends of the right and left side parts respectively to each other.
