Provided is a manufacturing method for an absorbent article, comprising: a step for establishing a cutting location (CL) while feeding a lower band-shaped member (15) in a feed direction, and applying an adhesive to either side of the cutting location (CL) in the feed direction of the lower band-shaped member (15) in order to form an adhesive area (HMA); a step for arranging elastic members (8B, 8F, 8L), while stretched in the feed direction, in such a way that portions of the elastic members (8B, 8F, 8L) overlap the adhesive area (HMA); a step for superimposing an upper band-shaped member (17) onto the lower band-shaped member (15) and the elastic members (8B, 8F, 8L), and effecting adhesion thereof in the adhesive area (HMA); a step for folding the lower band-shaped member (15) and the upper band-shaped member (17) in the center portion in an intersecting direction; a step for cutting the elastic members (8B, 8F, 8L) at a single location between a pair of adhesive areas (HMA) formed to either side of the cutting location (CL), and inducing contraction of the elastic members (8B, 8F, 8L) towards the adhesive areas (HMA) from the location where the elastic members (8B, 8F, 8L) were cut; a step for forming welding portions (sl) for welding the lower band-shaped member (15) and the upper band-shaped member (17), at either side of the cutting location (CL) in the feed direction; and a step for cutting the lower band-shaped member (15) and the upper band-shaped member (17) together, at the cutting location (CL).La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un article absorbant, comprenant : une étape d'établissement d'un emplacement de coupe (CL) tout en alimentant un élément en forme de bande inférieur (15) dans une direction d'alimentation, et d'application d'un adhésif sur chaque côté de l'emplacement de coupe (CL) dans la direction d'alimentation de l'élément en forme de bande inférieur (15) afin de former une zone adhésive (HMA) ; une étape d'agencemen
