The invention relates to a novel Mycobacterium tuberculosis target and to the use thereof in the screening of anti-tuberculosis drugs, more specifically a recombinant asparaginase of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, an inhibitor of this protein, and to a screening method for selecting said inhibitor.
