Procedure and system for providing both an estimated actual mean blood glucose value and an estimated glycohemoglobin (HbA1C) value from structured point blood glucose measurements
A computer-implemented procedure to provide both an estimated actual mean blood glucose value and an estimated glycohemoglobin (HbA1C) value from point blood glucose (bG) measurements from a patient comprising: collecting both the bG measurements and the associated context the measurement of bG at daily times and events specified by a structured sampling scheme； weight each of the collected bG measurements based on the associated context； where the weighting is based on both the duration between meals and the age of the bG measurements； determining the estimated actual mean bG value and the estimated HbA1C value from the weighted measurements of the collected bG measurements； and providing the estimated actual mean bG values and the estimated HbA1C.Un procedimiento implementado por ordenador para proporcionar tanto un valor de glucemia medio real estimado como un valor de glucohemoglobina (HbA1C) estimado a partir de mediciones de glucemia (bG) puntuales de un paciente que comprende: recoger tanto las mediciones de bG como el contexto asociado de la medición de bG en tiempos y acontecimientos diarios especificados por un esquema de muestreo estructurado； ponderar cada una de las mediciones de bG recogidas en base al contexto asociado； en el que la ponderación se basa tanto en la duración entre comidas como en la antigüedad de las mediciones de bG； determinar el valor de bG medio real estimado y el valor de HbA1C estimado a partir de las mediciones ponderadas de las mediciones de bG recogidas； y proporcionar los valores de bG medios reales estimados y los de HbA1C estimados.
