Specifically, these compositions can be administered to a subject, such as through oral consumption or topical treatment. The composition may include a plurality of microcapsules, each microcapsule of the plurality of microcapsules includes at least one cannabinoid compound, and each microcapsule of the plurality of microcapsules includes the at least one microcapsule.
