Disclosed is a make-up cosmetic, preferably a lip cosmetic, an eyelash cosmetic or an eye liner cosmetic, which contains an acrylic copolymer having a cycloalkyl group, has excellent gloss, adherability and water resistance, and also has superior long-lasting performance upon application.The acrylic copolymer having a cycloalkyl group is produced by polymerizing monomers comprising a component (a1) and a component (a2) and/or a component (a3), wherein the component (a1) is an acrylate or methacrylate containing a cycloalkyl group, the component (a2) is an acrylate or methacrylate containing a linear or branched alkyl group having 8 to 12 carbon atoms, and the component (a3) is an organopolysiloxane macromonomer containing a radically polymerizable group at one end. The content of the component (a1) is 50 to 90% by mass and the content of the component (a2) and/or the component (a3) is 10 to 50% by mass, both relative to the total amount of the constituent monomers.
