The butylidenephthalide disclosed in the present invention has the capability of reducing [beta]-amyloid protein concentration in cells and may achieve the effect of treating or preventing neurodegeneration diseases. Accordingly, the preparing method of pharmaceutical composition disclosed in the present invention utilizes the polymer substance as the drug carrier to enclose active ingredients of the butylidenephthalide within the polymer substance, so as to retard or reduce the cytotoxicity of butylidenephthalide, thereby achieving the effects of enhancing safety of pharmaceutical composition and treating or preventing neurodegeneration diseases.本發明所揭丁烯基苯酞係具有降低細胞內β類澱粉樣蛋白質濃度之能力,而能達到治療或預防神經退化性疾病之功效。據此,藉由本發明所揭醫藥組合物之製備方法,其將以高分子物質作為藥物載體,將為活性成分之丁烯基苯酞包覆於高分子物質中,用以減緩或降低丁烯基苯酞之細胞毒性,達到提昇醫藥組合物之安全性及治療或預防神經退化性疾病之功效。
