PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a slime control agent that has no chlorine smell, no putrid smell, excellent safety and handleability, proper solubility, prolongs life of antimicrobial agent and stain and slime prevention effects of agent.SOLUTION: The slime control agent comprises (a) a non-bleaching powder-based antimicrobial agent, (b) hydroxypropyl cellulose and (c) a surfactant having a melting point of &ge50°C and/or talc and is obtained by pressure forming.
