PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical knife allowing even an unskilled operator to easily stop insertion of a cutting part at a desired position and to form an incisional wound with a desired depth and width.SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM: The medical knife includes a cutting edge 5 along the outer periphery of a blade part 4 thereof. The cutting edge 5 includes: pointed ends 5a and 5a formed at tip end parts and crossing with each other intermediate parts 5b and 5b continued from the pointed ends 5a and 5a, where the width of the blade part 4 extends, while retaining a same width as that of rear end-side ends of the respective pointed ends 5a and 5a and expansion parts 5c and 5c that are continued from the intermediate parts 5b and 5b and formed by being inclined so as to open outward with respect to the pointed ends 5a and 5a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】熟練した施術者でなくても、容易に所望の位置で刃部の挿入を停止することができ、所望の深さ及び幅の長さの切開創を形成できる医療用ナイフを提供する。【課題の解決手段】医療用ナイフの刃部4の外周に沿って切り刃5を設け、この切り刃5は、先端部分に形成されて互いに交差する尖端部5a,5aと、これら尖端部5a,5aに続く刃部4の幅が各尖端部5a,5aの後端側端と同一幅を維持して伸びる中間部5b,5bと、これら中間部5b,5bに続くとともに、尖端部5a,5aに対して外側に向けて開くよう傾斜してなる拡張部5c,5cを備えている。【選択図】図2
