PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photodynamic therapy (PDT) apparatus surely treating a lesion alone while preventing an injury of a living body shallow part from increase/decrease of the amount of PDT medicine accompanying with increase/decrease of blood flow amount, imposing little physical and mental burden on a patient, and exerting a high treatment effect, adjusting the blood flow flowing a lesion by controlling the intensity of the laser light by focusing attention on that a reduction state of the blood flow amount is different according to the intensity of laser light, in executing a photodynamic therapy and its usage method.SOLUTION: This photodynamic therapy apparatus for executing the photodynamic therapy is characterized in controlling the peak intensity of the light for reducing the blood flow flowing the blood vessel in a shallow part 42 closer to the side of an illumination means 11 than the lesion 41, and treating the deep lesion 41 alone while conserving the shallow part 42.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】光線力学的治療するに当り、レーザー光の強度により血流量の低減状態が異なる点に着目し、レーザー光の強度を制御することにより、病変部を流れる血流量を調整し、血流量の増減に伴うPDT薬剤量の増減から、生体浅部の傷害を防止しつつ、病変部のみをより確実に治療でき、しかも患者の肉体的精神的な負担が少なく、より高い治療効果が得られる光線力学的治療装置と、その使用方法を提供する。【解決手段】光線力学的治療するもので、病変部41よりも照射手段11側にある浅部42の血管を流れる血流量を低減させるように光のピーク強度を制御し、浅部42を温存しつつ深部の病変部41のみをより治療可能にしたことを特徴とする。【選択図】図2
