In one aspect, a method of detecting tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in a sample is disclosed, which comprises bringing the sample into contact with a graphene layer functionalized with an antibody exhibiting specific binding to THC, applying a time-varying electric field to said antibody-functionalized graphene layer, monitoring electrical resistance of said graphene layer in response to interaction with said sample, and detecting presence of THC in the sample by detecting a change in said electrical resistance indicative of interaction of THC with said anti -body functionalized graphene layer.Selon un aspect, la présente invention porte sur un procédé de détection du tétrahydrocannabinol (THC) dans un échantillon, comprenant les étapes suivantes : mise en contact de l'échantillon avec une couche de graphène fonctionnalisée par un anticorps présentant une liaison spécifique au THC, application d'un champ électrique variant dans le temps à ladite couche de graphène fonctionnalisée par l'anticorps, surveillance de la résistance électrique de ladite couche de graphène en réponse à l'interaction avec ledit échantillon, et détection de la présence de THC dans l'échantillon en détectant une modification dans ladite résistance électrique indiquant une interaction du THC avec ladite couche de graphène fonctionnalisée par l'anticorps.
