The present disclosure is related to an electronic, wireless and portable stadiometer, having the ability to easily be folded and transported. Also, the device can self-calibrate itself by making a first measurement between the device fixed to a determined height selected by the user and the floor. Once this measurement is done, the distance between the sensor and the head of a person can be measured in a second measurement. The height of the person, therefore, is calculated by subtracting the second measurement from the first. This result can be wirelessly sent to a device such as a smartphone or a computer.La presente invención proporciona un estadiómetro electrónico, inalámbrico y portátil, el cual tiene la capacidad de plegarse y transportarse fácilmente. Asimismo, el dispositivo también puede autocalibrarse al hacer una primera medición entre el dispositivo fijado a una altura seleccionada por el usuario y el suelo. Una vez realizada esta medición, se puede medir en una segunda medición, la distancia entre el sensor y la cabeza de una persona. La altura de la persona se calculara restando la segunda medición a la primera medición. Este resultado se podrá comunicar de manera inalámbrica a algún dispositivo tal como un teléfono inteligente o a un ordenador.
