PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional impression material which does not degrade due to the elution of a plasticizer and can maintain the impression surface without destroying its shape after it is obtained in the oral cavity.SOLUTION: The functional dental impression material includes a paste composition including a polymerizable liquid polymer, and a non-crosslinked polymer and a radical polymerization initiator dissolved in the polymerizable liquid polymer. The polymerizable liquid polymer has a mass-average molecular weight of 1,000-10,000, contains an oligomer having a molecular weight of 500 or less in an amount of 10 mass% or less, has at least one radically polymerizable group combined with the main chain, and is liquid in the temperature range of 18 to 40°C.
